Community Action Agencies operate with very diverse and extensive sources of funding. For every dollar in CSBG funding we receive it is matched by eight dollars in federal, state, local, and private funds. Although constantly evolving, this Agency is supported by funds from the State of California Public Health Department, the Department of Community Services and Development, HUD, the State Department of Education, Mental Health Services Act Funds, FEMA, Department of Energy, the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program , First 5 of Merced County, the State Department of Housing and Community Development, private foundations, community groups, and individual donors.
